That view worth every penny, just to walk in n go sleep and wakeup too is my favourite thing of the room. When staying here, its worth to spend a little more to get a room with ocean view. And equl all to it is everything in this hotel is amazing, eating in the buffet restaurant look for a empty table with the view of all the little islands was the bonus spot of the morning. I am so glad with the swimming pool is under cover open wall as its really hot weather makes the swimming so relax of that beautiful view of the sea n the islands. N our favorite staff Chole with a perfect English book everything that we want to do in the island, like day Cruise, restaurant to try out in the area, taxi, etc. Just tell her what you prefer and if you don't know what to do because its your first time there n lost of what to see or do like us, than just tell her what you want to experience and she book you n sent you information of what to do. We didn't want to sleep on the boat out there so we did the day tour for our 26th Wedding Anniversary with the Ambassador Cruise and we love every moment of it. Another amazing thing in Paddington Hotel is their Spa - Body Massage Retreat, ask to have a look at their facility n see what they offer. Tell them what you want to try out and it worth the feeling of relaxing in your body. They give you clothes to wear after shower, steam, Shauna or you did the freeze tub before you go n lye down for your treatment Massage Heavenly feeling. Every staf n cleaner are amazing

Excellent hotel in an excellent location ! Very friendly staff, willing to assist in everything in any way, Chloe comes to mind! One of the best breakfasts we ever had - both in variety and quality ! Few nice restaurants in immediate vicinity, with the one diagonally opposite the hotel, at the traffic lights - standing out. Will certainly be back especially when the sky bar opens.

Best hotel we stayed at so far. Exceptional service. Top notch facilities. The staff were super helpful. We were given a free upgrade as well. The Serenity Spa on the site was really good. The receptionist over there even volunteered to babysit our 2 year old to allow my wife and I to enjoy the facility. The view from the room was just superb- the beach and the Haolong Bay. Just mind-blowing.

After a one night cruise on Halong Bay, I wanted to stay and enjoy the view of the islands longer rather than heading straight back to Hanoi, so we booked this hotel for one night. We booked a 'Queen room with a sea view', and the view was EPIC. The rooms on floors 16 to 18 have floor to ceiling curved windows. We knew it would be good, but the view was still staggering. We had one window like this in the bedroom, and another one in the bathroom, so we each had a bath with the best view ever. I also booked this hotel because of the beach. There were a few friendly people giving swimming lessons to little children with lifeguards, but otherwise it was very quiet and easy for swimming. The room was big and immaculate, and staff were always clean to help. Overall, the facilities were grander than I expected. There is also a cool cafe and bar round the corner, called Da Bong (football).

We stayed at the hotel a few weeks after the typhoon, so the city and a hotel were empty. The stuff of a hotel was very welcome and helpful for us. Our room was upgraded to a bigger size room. The sea view rooms have a wonderful view.
